This was my 5th and final year at the Passion Conference in Atlanta, GA. This conference has given me a recharge each year in my faith and walk with God. A recharge that has been needed more than ever. Some amazing things happened at this particular conference in the lives of so many participants, volunteers and even folks on our team. However, the one thing I have to post is that I met Annie. Annie was our only Deaf Volunteer at the conference that I coordinated the interpreters for. After a long week, we got to take our first real moment to chat a bit more than the hellos. During that conversation, I found out that Annie's first language is British Sign Language (BSL). Out of the 68K people at Passion, I met the one Deaf person whose first language is BSL. I may be able to learn a few phrases on skype before the big move. I welcome the confirmation of this transition. :)

Awe, that was so sweet of you to compliment me in your blog!! I agree that it is none but God's work to bring us together here at Passion2013 since it is also your final year!! I missed volunteering in the past two years but now since we have met we could be great long-distance friends. I know that it is in God's time like you said "Coincidence is God's way of being anonymous". Can't wait to practice BSL with you on Skype.
