You don't always get what you ask for, but you never get what you don't ask for... unless it's contagious!
-Beverly Sills
As most of you know my flight was changed from Wed night to Thursday night which gave me one extra day to rest. My flight back home was terrible. I was stuck on a plane in DC for it to be de-iced. I had what should have been a 7ish hour flight turn into 11 hours and I didn't sleep a wink on the flight. I hydrated and sucked on cough drops to the point that I felt more sick. I coughed on everyone around me, and had to get the flight attendant to bring me water like all the time. Those poor, poor people.
The toilet part
Peeing on a plane was never really an option for me- however this past trip I have either realized my age or that I need to increase my kegel exercises. On the flight to the states I had to pee once.. poor guy sitting next to me was in such a deep sleep and he wouldn't wake up when I asked him to move- so he actually didn't awake until he saw me doing what could have looked like an inappropriate lap dance as I was trying to get to the loo.
And flying back- I thank the Good Lord or the Flight Attendant for not finding me a window seat on the overcrowded plane because I had to pee 5 times. FIVE TIMES?! It was all that water I was drinking I guess... Those little bathrooms have a lot of compartments and I am still surprised by how when you flush the toilet you feel as if you will be sucked down through it and spit out the back of the plane. Anyway- peeing on a plane isn't so scary. I think trains are worse.
